1st January 2026

The cost of session (50-55 minutes) is between $160 to $230 per session. Clients who have a Mental Health Care Plan from their GP will receive a rebate of $98.95 per session from Medicare.

Face-to-Face & EMDR Therapy

I support children (from age 5), adolescents, and adults with personalised, goal-focused care designed around your unique needs and challenges.

For children aged 5 and up with NDIS funding, face-to-face sessions include capacity-building support to strengthen skills, confidence, and independence in everyday life.

Parenting Support Sessions

Need practical support as challenges arise? I offer extra guidance, along with clear psychoeducation to help you better understand and navigate concerns as they come up. I am also a trained 123 Magic & Emotion Coaching Parent Educator, providing parents with supportive, effective strategies to encourage positive change at home.

At Morning Star Psychology, we currently offer a complimentary 10–15-minute pre-intake consultation to discuss your concerns, answer any questions, and determine whether our services are the right fit for your needs.

First session demystified

In our initial session parents will be invited to attend with their child or adolescent. Adult clients normally attend on their own. We will focus on rapport building, discuss background, developmental history and current concerns collaboratively.

Please email your referral / plan or bring it with you along with your Medicare card.

Cancellation Policy

I acknowledge there are times when you cannot attend an appointment due to emergencies, illness or other obligations. However, without advising, you may be inhibiting someone else from accessing treatment. All appointments need to be cancelled or rescheduled 48 hours before your appointment to avoid fees.

If the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of your appointment, there may be a late cancellation fee of 50%. If you do not attend your appointment, cancel or reschedule your appointment within 24 hours of your appointment, you will be charged full fee for the appointment unless alternative arrangements can be mutually agreed.

Cancellation fees are not eligible for rebates due to non-attendance to the appointment
